About

Zak has always been fascinated by human behaviour and why we make the decisions we do. An intense curiosity in the work of his Dad, Chartered Psychologist Steven Sylvester, led Zak to pursue a degree in Psychology, graduating from the University of Birmingham in 2019. Since then he has worked closely alongside Steven with elite athletes, international sports teams and business executives in his pursuit of becoming a chartered psychologist.

As a black belt kickboxer, calisthenics practitioner, personal trainer and former captain of the University of Birmingham gymnastics team Zak is very focused on health and wellbeing. He integrates his understanding of martial arts and bodyweight training principles with psychology to coach elite athletes.

Following two years working as a Creative Specialist for Hewlett Packard, Zak utilises his skillset and passion for both psychology and creative design to produce and direct content for the EA5 App. Coming soon.

Rapidly changing job markets, the onset of Artificial Intelligence and geopolitical unrest, are just some of the many factors creating a very unstable environment, in which it’s impossible to predict how the near future will look with any degree of certainty.

I am impressed by Djokovic’s humility and shared understanding of the key ingredient to coping under pressure. Just like so many of us, Novak describes his experiences of struggling to calm the mind in uncertain situations and having to deal with it drifting off and away from what needs to be in focus.
